We love hearing from our parents!

🩷 Firm Foundation 🩷

As we wrap up an incredible week of camp, our hearts are so full!

This week’s theme, Firm Foundation, reminded us what it means to be rooted in the values we teach at Abigail Academy. Together, we watched dreams and sketches become beautiful fashion garments, timid girls grow into confident friends, and overwhelm turn into joy.

🩷 Dreams became reality.
🩷 New friendships were formed.
🩷 Confidence blossomed.

We are so grateful for our amazing counselors, campers, and families who made this week so special. It is a joy to teach life skills in a fun, supportive environment where girls can grow in confidence and flourish in their relationship with God.

The Gospel reminds us that we each have the choice to believe Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. When we are rooted in Him as our hope and firm foundation, we find a peace that carries us through every step.

Have you ever looked back and remembered the person who believed in you before you fully believed in yourself?
Or maybe you're a mom or caregiver who treasures the people who come alongside your family—encouraging your daughter, reinforcing the values you're teaching at home, and reminding her that she is wonderfully made with purpose.
Those moments matter. They help build a firm foundation.
This week, our Girls Summer Confidence Camp is centered on a Firm Foundation, inspired by believing in the firm truth of John 1:4. Because of Jesus, we get to shine the gifts He's placed within us while building confidence rooted in Him.
As we celebrate our second decade of camp, we're simply amazed by God's faithfulness. It's a joy to welcome girls ages 5–13 into age-specific groups where caring counselors help them grow in confidence, leadership, creativity, and practical life skills. Watching a shy girl arrive on the first morning and leave with a smile and new confidence never gets old.
This week we've practiced eye contact, handshakes, meal prep, fashion illustration, watercolor design, and we're preparing for our family fashion showcase.
We love standing alongside families who value faith, strong character, leadership, and purposeful living. We believe every girl is deeply loved by God, created with gifts worth celebrating, and capable of flourishing from a firm foundation.
We're so grateful to witness another summer of girls creating, growing, celebrating Jesus, and shining their light. 🤍

We believe that there’s something powerful about looking someone in the eyes and offering a firm handshake.

In a world that moves fast and lives behind screens, eye contact says, “I see you.” A handshake says, “I respect you.” Neither costs anything — but both communicate presence, confidence, and integrity.

Eye contact builds trust. It slows us down long enough to truly connect. It tells the other person they matter.

We believe that a handshake — steady, not rushed — carries warmth and professionalism at the same time. It’s a simple gesture that can open doors, start partnerships, and leave a lasting first impression.

No filters. No captions needed. Just human connection- this is what happens at our summer camps. :4
