We made it!!! I got the most thoughtful gift from my teacher bestie . A ornament to remember our awesome experience this past summer a the confetti inside the ornament was shot off during the closing of the conference. I won’t lie it made me tear up a little 😢. It was a nice reminder of the excitement I felt to . Teaching is hard y’all but like my sweatshirt says I was made for it. I plan to use my break to relax and come back refreshed and ready to rock the rest of the school year (until baby girl arrives 😊)
Super awesome sweatshirt is from I love it! Super cute, super comfy, and great quality!

So when I saw the perfect matching pouch I definitely had to get it! Now I have somewhere to store all my and (yes I love both and refuse to pick a team 🤷‍♀️).

Confession time...... I spend more time then I care to admit scrolling through all the things. I Pin, like, and save so many classroom ideas THAT I NEVER END UP DOING. Anyone else? 🙋‍♀️🤷‍♀️
But when I saw this idea on and found that I could get everything I committed to following through on this one! I can’t wait to introduce this sight word practice next week. I also picked up some fun Halloween additions for my guided reading groups!

I’m looking back and reflecting on our first ever day and I am happy to say it was a huge success! I won’t lie my class has been a challenge so far this year but they were engaged the entire day and the content was rigorous! SO PROUD! Also, thinking maybe I should go blonde?!! 😂
Our favorite activity was our rock star research on famous singers. This resource from was so much fun and I was really impressed with my for rocking it!
