Team 1’s Jack won “Head of School for a Day” at de Party and got to serve ice cream at lunch with Mr. Howell a few weeks ago! 🍦💙
What fun! Way to go, Jack, Team 2 is ready for you! 🐾
At The de Paul School, we teach students with learning differences to learn differently. Where Students Learn What Success Feels Like!

At de Paul, our students grow in so many ways, academically, socially, and personally. Watching our Huskies build confidence in themselves and their abilities is what it’s all about.
We are so proud of Eroll and all of our Team 8 students as they prepare for their next chapter! 🐾

Congratulations Kiersten! We are proud of you!
The Assumption community would like to congratulate Kiersten Langford '26 for her outstanding leadership and dedication to Assumption's Best Buddies chapter 💗 In the fall, Kiersten was selected as the KY Best Buddies Champion of the Year alongside her Mission Partner, Addie. Together, they raised $58,000 for the Best Buddies program! 👏
This Spring, at the Best Buddies Friendship Walk, Kiersten was named the High School Chapter Leader of the Year, and Assumption was the number one fundraising high school with a total of $2,285 raised! Kiersten and next year's president, Annika Haulk '27, were instrumental in organizing the walk and the success 🚀 Amazing work, Rockets! Best Buddies International

Our K-1 Huskies spent the year learning all about things growing 🌱💙
At the beginning of the year, we planted two bean stalks, one representing Team K and one representing Team 1. By the end of the year, they had grown together, just like our students did all year long.
We are so proud of how much our Huskies have grown this year. Have the best summer, K-1 Huskies! ☀️🐾

The story of one alumni from de Paul can be incredibly moving, but for the Johnson family, they have student success stories that span THREE generations. See their story here and check out even more “generational grad” stories at: dePaulSchool.org/schoolstories.

Many of our alumni have very similar “Before and After” stories as Nate shares in this video.
We always love to hear that, wherever their paths take them, the skills and systems they learned at de Paul still serve them well!
“Before de Paul, I had trouble focusing at school. At de Paul, because of the different teaching style, I was able to focus on things and enjoyed learning. de Paul helped me create a system for myself that worked.”

“At de Paul, I was surrounded by teachers who understood me and the way I learn. The work I do now requires me to analyze legal and financial documents. I wouldn’t be able to do this work if it weren’t for the educational foundation I built during my time at de Paul.”

“de Paul really helped me structure my life and organize things to be productive. I credit that same structure for helping me become a Governor Scholar, and for getting a full ride to U of L.
