We hope all of our students are enjoying the first few weeks of summer!!! While our students have been relaxing and soaking up the sunshine, our teachers have been hard at work preparing for another successful school year. ☀️
This week, several of our teachers are attending a three day course focused on strengthening Tier 1 instruction across all grade levels. Participants will learn essential components of effective instruction, including strong math and literacy practices, differentiation, and integrating behavior supports. We are so proud of our teachers' commitment to lifelong learning and their dedication to providing the very best educational experience for our students.

Join us in welcoming our new school counselor!!! Here is a message from Ms. Holland:
Hello! My name is Keaghan Holland and I am excited to join St. Nicholas Academy as the new school counselor. I am passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while encouraging the development of students' faith. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Louisville, a Masters degree in School Counseling from Spalding University and am an ASCA Mental Health Specialist. Most recently, I worked as a Youth Service Center Assistant at Bullitt Lick Middle School where I assisted students and families with basic needs and worked directly with students in individual, small group, and classroom settings, helping them build self-awareness, problem-solving skills, and goal-setting strategies. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, baking, running, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to building strong relationships with students, families, and staff and becoming part of the St. Nicholas community! Be on the lookout for newsletters and information regarding my counseling program soon!!!

Yesterday, we came together for our final school Mass to celebrate and reflect on the incredible year we had at SNA! Mrs. Greta and her 3rd grade class did a wonderful job leading the liturgy.
Following Mass, we recognized students for their hard work, leadership, and dedication throughout the school year, including participants in clubs and activities, PAW Print and Virtue=Strength award recipients, Honor Roll and Principal’s List students, and Panther Pride Award winners. 🐾
We are so proud of all our students and the many accomplishments they achieved this year! 💜🩶🖤
