Holy Spirit Summer Camp Counselor (Ages 3 years old–5th Grade)
Join us for a fun, active, and engaging summer at Holy Spirit Summer Camp! We are looking for reliable, energetic, and caring individuals who enjoy working with children and being part of a team.
Our camp serves children ages 3 through 5th grade, and all age groups participate in exciting field trips throughout the summer. Staff may serve as a Camp Counselor or a Special Area Counselor, helping lead activities, games, and daily fun.
Schedule & Commitment:
Flexible scheduling available, 3–5 days per week
Shifts fall between 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Camp runs for 7 weeks, with additional lighter work opportunities after the 7 weeks of camp is over for those interested
Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children
Actively participate and engage with campers throughout the day
Follow daily schedules, transitions, and activity plans
Maintain strong attention to detail and supervision at all times
Communicate and work collaboratively with staff
Qualifications:
Reliable, responsible, and mature
Positive attitude with a willingness to participate and engage
Ability to work with children of various ages
Flexible and team-oriented
Willingness to complete all Kentucky Child Care State Licensing requirements
Additional Requirements (upon hire):
TB test or risk assessment
Copy of high school or college diploma, or a letter from your school confirming good standing
Safe Environment Training
Head Trauma Training
Orientation training
Background check
Valid driver’s license or state ID
We will assist you in completing all required items upon hire.
