I am very upset that we just found out this week that bus routes have changed forcing parents to either move their child to a new daycare (if they can find one that fits there needs) or provide transportation themselves. For instance I have children going to Fern Creek Elementary (about 1 mile from us) who can not get on the bus here (even though they did last year). We checked and the bus goes right by us again this year, stops 3 doors up BUT we were told that the kids can not get on there either. Jefferson County residents need to wake up and talk back. The school system is failing us again. I never rant on facebook or anywhere else but between the ridiculous time changes and these stop changes, I have to say something. We are contacting our councilperson, the mayor and the media. Parents need to do so also. Nothing will get better if we don't fight back.

None of us will get it right all the time; all that matters is that we keep trying. 🧡
