103- remember a ratio is a portion of one part another part. If you and I share thing equally, for every one share you get, I get one share. Thus there are two shares in total. I get 1/2 and you get 1/2 (or your share over the total)

101- what is acctg

103 - the three main aspect of accounting for partnerships is establishing or starting the partnership, distributing income to partners, dissolving the partnership.

101 - debit is the left side. Credit is the right side.
