Director, School and Community Nutrition Services I began as Coordinator of Food Procurement for Jefferson County Public Schools.
My career in SFS began in 1994, after 11 years in FS sales, including positions with Campbell Soup Company and Nabisco. After five years I became the manager of the brand new central kitchen and warehouse in Jefferson County. Managing the central kitchen was a wonderful experience! In 2009 I became Director of School and Community Nutrition Services. Thanks to a great, dedicated staff I have the opportunity to pursue the important position of VP of SNA.
Ok-I will figure out one day how to make this page more widely available! Meanwhile it is wonderful to be writing this post from the CNIC conference in sunny Orlando, FL! Those of you who are here, prepare yourself for three days of the latest news, views and trends in school nutrition. As conference co-chair it has been my privilege to work with the unparrelled professional staff at SNA and my remarkably committed and talented industry co-chair, Gary Vonck, to bring you this incredible learning and growth adventure! I hope you enjoy it!

School Nutrition Association The School Nutrition Foundation is postponing The New School Meal Patterns What You Need to Know webinar, scheduled for Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Unfortunately, it is our understanding that the publication of the Final Meal Pattern Regulation has been delayed.
