As we prepare for another exciting academic year, Spalding University was proud to welcome our newest faculty members to campus for New Faculty Orientation.
This special day provided an opportunity for our new colleagues to connect with one another, learn more about our mission and values, and begin building relationships that will enrich the lives of our students and strengthen our campus community. From meaningful discussions about teaching and learning to conversations about service, leadership, and student success, the day was filled with enthusiasm, purpose, and a shared commitment to education.
At Spalding, we believe that education is transformative. Our faculty are at the heart of that transformation, inspiring students to think critically, serve compassionately, and pursue lives of meaning and purpose. Every new faculty member brings unique experiences, expertise, perspectives, and passions that will help shape the future of our university and empower the next generation of leaders, professionals, artists, healthcare providers, educators, and changemakers.
As members of a learning community rooted in the values of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, our newest faculty join a tradition that emphasizes service, compassion, social justice, and academic excellence. Their work will not only expand knowledge in their disciplines but also help students discover their own potential and make a positive impact in their communities and professions.
We are grateful that these talented educators have chosen to make Spalding University their academic home. We look forward to the energy, innovation, mentorship, and scholarship they will bring to our classrooms, laboratories, studios, clinics, and campus spaces.
Please join us in offering a warm welcome to the newest members of our faculty. We are excited to begin this journey together and can't wait to see the difference they will make in the lives of our students and throughout the Spalding community.
Welcome to Spalding University. We are so glad you're here. 💙🎓
