Happy Simulation Week!
This week, we’re celebrating the people who make simulation such a special part of healthcare education. Simulation gives students across disciplines — from nursing and respiratory therapy to physical therapy and beyond — the opportunity to practice skills, build confidence, strengthen clinical judgment, and learn to work together as a healthcare team.
A special shout-out to our full-time simulation team — Dana McNeeley, Erik Benvie, and Ted Carter — for everything they do to bring these learning experiences to life!

Happy 4th Birthday to Vince the Knight of Lansing! 🎉
Yesterday, Miles Hall was filled with wagging tails, happy visitors, plenty of treats, and lots of birthday love as we celebrated our favorite four-legged Knight!
Vince brings so much joy to our students, faculty, staff, and visitors, and we’re pretty sure he knows just how loved he is. From birthday treats to birthday wishes, it was a celebration fit for a Knight!
Help us wish Vince a very happy 4th birthday! 🐾❤️💛

From hands-on learning to new milestones, our NP Intensive brought our FNP, AGACNP, and PMHNP students together for a week of learning, connection, and celebration!
The highlight? Our first-ever White Coat Ceremony, marking an exciting milestone for our students as they continue their journey toward advanced practice nursing. 🩺🤍
We’re proud of all they’re accomplishing and can’t wait to see where their nursing journeys take them!

On Saturday, August 8, we celebrated the incredible accomplishments of our graduate nursing students at our Graduate Nursing Completion Ceremony. The celebration brought together graduates from across our programs — MSN FNP, AGACNP, PMHNP, Education, and Administration; DNP Executive Leadership and Advanced Practice; and our first-ever cohort of DNP Nurse Anesthesia students!
From advanced practice to leadership, education, and anesthesia, these graduates are stepping into the next chapter ready to make an impact on the future of healthcare.
