This week our incoming junior nursing students were oriented to the program including a ceremony to receive their stethoscopes and sign a nursing students oath. We are so excited to see what’s in store for these new eager Bellarmine nursing knights! 🩺 ⚔️

We are excited to welcome our first male students to the knights to nurses program! The percentage of men in the nursing field has grown significantly since the early 2000’s and we are thrilled to be a part of that growing trend.

Future nurses in action! 🩺 This summer, our Knights to Nurses dual enrollment students rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on in the nursing lab, practicing real clinical skills, building confidence, and getting a glimpse of what their future careers could look like. Learning by doing is one of the best parts of nursing education, and these students are already off to an incredible start. We can’t wait to see where their journey takes them!

Our accelerated BSN and dual enrollment BSN students were treated to an ice cream bar to celebrate summer today. This celebration culminates the end of the 5-week summer bridge session for our 33 Knights to Nurses dual enrollment students. The accelerated students still have a few more weeks to go for their summer classes (hang in there, you’ve got this !). 🩺🍦
