Western Alumni: Your Alumni Association is at a crossroads. In August of 2025, our president passed away unexpectedly. This left a huge gap in our operations. The Vice President, Diana French has stepped in to lead the board. In June of 2026 our secretary, Janice Mattingly passed away. While we miss our friends dearly, we have tried to maintain the Board with just 3 people. Folks we need help. Three people cannot maintain the few activities we currently have. We certainly cannot add any more. Please consider volunteering as an officer of the board or as a member to help us with the current and any future activities.

Nominations will be accepted through October 18.

REMINDER:

In accordance with our by-laws, elections are held in alternate years for two of the four board positions. All nominees, candidates, and chosen officers must be active members of the WHS Alumni Association. In 2026, we are seeking nominations for Vice President, Secretary, Membership Chair and Communications Chair.

If you would like to nominate yourself, you are encouraged to enter. You are welcome to nominate another member - with their permission.

Upon entering, a copy of the board position duties will be provided. It is our hope to have strong leadership to guarantee the future of the Western High School Alumni Association.

Nominations will be accepted from September 8th, 2026 through October 18, 2026. Should you have questions, feel free to email us at [email protected]
