Today we participated in the Build Our Block 3rd Street Event. We checked blood pressures, gave flu vaccines, and gave info to the community about our Family Medicine clinics.
There are a total of 25 Residents in our ACGME accredited program with a unique blend of training in both academic and community settings.

April is Minority Cancer Awareness Month
Join the Kentucky African Americans Against Cancer for a special presentation at the Republic Bank YMCA, 1720 W. Broadway, on Monday, April 24 @ 5:30 PM.
Dr. Karen Krigger, Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine and Director of Health Equity at Health Sciences, will talk about cancer in African Americans; how to reduce your risk of cancer; and how to find cancer early for better outcomes.
