This past weekend, we had the privilege of celebrating the graduation of the 𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒆𝒋𝒂 𝑵𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒂 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎.

Three years ago, this group took a chance on a brand new program and became part of something we were building from the ground up. Along the way, they helped shape its culture, establish its traditions, and set the standard for the classes that will follow.

Watching them walk across the stage was one of those moments that makes you stop and appreciate just how far we’ve come. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and grateful for the role they have played in the story of this program.

To the Class of 2026—our first class and one that will always hold a special place in the history of this program—congratulations. We can’t wait to see what comes next. ♥️🎓

This week was one of those rare moments that reminds us just how quickly the journey comes full circle.

✨ We welcomed the 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒇 2029 as they begin their nurse anesthesia education.

🏥 The 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒇 2028 completed their first month of Intro to Clinical Immersion, taking their first steps into the operating room and beginning to connect classroom learning with clinical practice.

🗓️ The 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒇 2027 finished their first year of clinical practicum and will begin senior clinical rotations next week—another exciting milestone as they move toward independent practice.

🎓 And the 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒇 2026 completed their final day of clinical practicum, closing one chapter before graduating and entering the profession they have worked so hard to join.

There is something special about seeing every stage of the journey represented in a single week. New beginnings, major milestones, and meaningful endings—all happening together.

Congratulations to each of our cohorts. We can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings.

Today marked an incredible milestone as our Class of 2026 successfully completed their 𝓓𝓝𝓟－𝓝𝓐 𝓢𝓬𝓱𝓸𝓵𝓪𝓻𝓵𝔂 𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓓𝓮𝓯𝓮𝓷𝓼𝓮𝓼.

Over the past several semesters, these residents have identified clinical practice gaps, critically evaluated the evidence, and developed evidence-based strategies aimed at improving anesthesia practice and patient outcomes.

Today was not only a demonstration of their scholarship, but also a reflection of their growth as clinicians, leaders, and future CRNAs.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to advancing nurse anesthesia practice.

𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼, 𝓒𝓵𝓪𝓼𝓼 𝓸𝓯 2026 — another step closer! ⚔️

𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒑 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑶𝑹. 😷🩺

Today, our 𝐍𝐀𝐑𝟏𝐬 spent the afternoon in the simulation lab sharpening their airway management skills as they prepare for their 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐 𝒕𝒐 𝑪𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 experiences beginning next week.

From bag-mask ventilation and supraglottic airway placement to direct and video laryngoscopy, today was all about building the technical skills, clinical judgment, and confidence they’ll carry with them into the operating room.

A special thank you to our 𝐍𝐀𝐑𝟐𝐬, who graciously volunteered their time to mentor and coach the first-year residents throughout the session. Watching our students invest in one another is one of the things that makes this program so special. Their willingness to share their experience, offer encouragement, and help develop the next class of nurse anesthesia residents speaks to the collaborative culture we’re proud to foster at Bellarmine.

Bellarmine NARs had a great weekend volunteering at the Conference!

Our students enjoyed mentoring aspiring CRNAs, participating in simulation activities, sharing their experiences in nurse anesthesia education, and helping future applicants learn more about the journey to CRNA school.

We’re proud of the way they represented Bellarmine and the profession while supporting the next generation of nurse anesthetists.

Today we officially welcomed the 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟖 to campus!

After completing their foundational DNP coursework, this cohort begins an exciting new chapter focused on nurse anesthesia education, hands-on learning, professional growth, and preparation for clinical practice.

We are so proud to welcome this group of future nurse anesthetists to campus and look forward to supporting them as they continue their journey.

This weekend, our 𝐍𝐀𝐑-𝟐𝐬 took part in our second annual 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 & 𝐏𝐎𝐂𝐔𝐒 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 hosted by .

This two-day, cadaver-based experience focused on 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬 and 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭-𝐨𝐟-𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, giving students the opportunity to bring their learning to life through hands-on application.

We’re incredibly grateful for the Maverick team’s continued partnership in making this experience possible.

Our 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒅-𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒏𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 participated in 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞’𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

During the event, they showcased their doctoral project work, highlighting their commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical innovation, and improving patient outcomes in anesthesia care.

It was a great opportunity to recognize the depth of their scholarly work and the impact they are already making as future CRNAs. We’re proud of the dedication and professionalism they continue to demonstrate as they move toward graduation.
