Keystone Learning Academy

Keystone Learning Academy The organization was formed from humble beginnings in the basement of the Community Action Agency in the California neighborhood of Louisville at 1600 West St.

Formerly known as California Area Family Development Center, KLA's vision is to help all children build educational, emotional and physical growth through the "Reggio Emilia" approach to learning, which views ALL children as capable and competent leaders! Keystone Learning Academy is an independent non-profit agency offering year round child care services for children ages 6 weeks - 12 years through our Infant & Toddler, Preschool, and School Age programs. We are accredited by the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs and licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky

Keystone Learning Academy was originally founded in 1970 as the California Area Family Development Center. Catherine Street. Its purpose then was to provide safe and loving child care to families in need. Although the Center has grown, relocated and is now know as the Keystone Learning Academy, those founding principles remain.
