Louisville Male HS Wrestling

This Saturday your Louisville Male Wrestling Dawgs will compete for the 3A State Dual Championship. We will face Central Hardin and Saint Xavier in our opening pool. Wish us luck as we chase the state title!!!

Congratulations to our middle schoolers who wrestled for legends yesterday at Middle school regions. Jayce and Herlan punched their tickets to the state tournament and helped the Legends win the region. Congratulations to all of our middle schoolers who competed.

Dawgs won the T-3 dual tournament yesterday going 5-0 on the day with wins over. Shawnee, Central, North Bullitt, Woodford county, and Western. Moving our season dual record to 24-1 as We head to the state championship in Corbin on Friday. Our B team took 5th on the day with wins over Tates creek and Eastern. got MOW for the tournament as well. Congratulations to him and the rest of the wrestling Dawgs. Now let’s go win state!!!

Your Louisville Male Wrestling DAWGS make history last night. Getting their first win over a top 10 team in program history and starting the season off 2-0!!! Next week we host southern, eastern, and western in the battle of the compass.

How it started vs How it’s going

With a fully loaded senior class we are very excited for this upcoming season. You’re 24-25 Returning Senior Wrestling Dawgs!!!

You may not find this cool but to us this is awesome. As many of you know last season I went digging for some sort of evidence that a Wrestling program existed at Louisville Male before 2012. I used old KHSAA documents and old Year books in the alumni room to find this evidence.

I was fortunate to come across a lot of history and some of that history included a man Named Jeff Chambers. This name is one of the most important names when it comes to Louisville Male Wrestling history.

Well today I was looking at the yearbook for this school year and lo and behold look who made his way back into the Louisville Male Wrestling Yearbook page 41 years later.

Thank you Jeff for your impact on wrestling!!!
