🏆🌎 Hawthorne Hawks Shine at the KWLA Student Expo! 🌎🏆

This past Tuesday, our amazing Hawthorne students were recognized by the Jefferson County Board of Education for their outstanding achievements at the Kentucky World Language Association (KWLA) Student Expo!

The KWLA Student Expo celebrates students’ abilities to communicate in multiple languages, explore world cultures, collaborate with others, and showcase their creativity through writing, speaking, visual arts, performances, and more.

We are incredibly proud of our students for representing Hawthorne so well and demonstrating the power of bilingualism, biliteracy, and global citizenship. Their hard work, talent, and dedication continue to inspire us all!

A special congratulations to all of our participants, award winners, and Distinguished Communicators. We are proud to be the home of Kentucky’s future multilingual leaders! 💙🦅💛

We would also like to recognize and thank our incredible Hawthorne World Language teachers for their dedication to language learning, cultural competence, and student success. Your passion and commitment help our students soar! ✈️🌎💙
