Hey! I see your carriers sitting. I know you have a Moby somewhere that you aren't using, a K'tan that's a tad too big/small, or a ring sling you never mastered. THESE MOTHERS NEED THEM. I'm offering a chance at a free consult for anyone who donates a carrier and comments below that they did so! I'll draw from the names and get with the winner! This is a special cause close to my heart and I'd love your help. If you can't get to Mama's Hip, you can get them to me and I'll get them there.

**SERVICE OPPORTUNITY**

Hello, KBW community!

In our continued efforts to make babywearing accessible to all, we'll be focusing our Saturday meeting on giving back. Do you have an old set of sheets? We'd love to make a sizable donation to Kentucky Refugee Ministries of doll wraps for their childcare room utilized by children whose parents are taking ESL and cultural orientation classes. Old, clean sheets can easily be cut down to make simple carriers for children to use in imaginative play.

Please come help cut sheets down to size, drop off a sheet or two, or if you're feeling especially generous, they'd love baby dolls that aren't white.

Join us for our monthly Sunday meeting today from 3 to 4 today while we focus on stretchy wraps like the K'tan and Moby/Boba wraps!

Here is a handy visual for levels of tension when using wovens. This illustrates how and where to tighten in terms of tension by rail. Obviously, these descriptions are relative and everything should be tight, but as far as degrees of tension, this visual will help prevent seat-popping, leg-straightening, sagging, and leaning!

Kentuckiana Babywearers is looking for new leaders and peer support helpers. Come to meetings and help us spread the babywearing love! We have three regular monthly meetings and need more volunteers. Don't worry if you aren't the most experienced - we will help to train!
