The Student Organization for Alumni Relations is excited to celebrate our May 2026 UofL graduates! 🎉 Ofelia Mattingly, our president, is graduating with a degree in political science. Her favorite SOAR memory is being a part of the Louisville Alumni and SOAR Mentorship Program for all four years of her time as a SOAR member. "I had amazing mentors that gave me a good network of professionals and career advice!" 🎓 Next, Ofelia plans to attend grad school for a MA in Political Science here at UofL! Congratulations, Ofelia!

The Student Organization for Alumni Relations is excited to celebrate our May 2026 UofL graduates! 🎉 Madeleine Tinker, our vice president of membership, is graduating with a degree in accountancy. Her favorite SOAR memory is volunteering at the Alumni Awards; she loved seeing the Louisville Alumni come back to accept their awards. 🎓 Next, Madeleine plans to pursue a Master’s in Accounting and sitting for the CPA shortly after. Congratulations, Madeleine!

Her favorite SOAR memory is the ice cream social event during her sophomore year back when The Comfy Cow was still under CardTowne (RIP), where she came in uneasy and ended up making three friends!🎓 Next, Kayla be working as a chemical engineer for ExxonMobil in Baton Rouge, LA. Congratulations, Kayla!

Her favorite SOAR memory is our end of semester dinner where everyone shared their accomplishments, hopes for the new year, and congratulated the new graduates. 🎓 Next, Carmen will be continuing her education by pursuing law school. Congratulations, Carmen!

His favorite SOAR memory is when he had to push a golf cart that ran out of gas from the BAB back to the SAC. 🎓 Next, Dylan will be attending graduate school at UofL to earn his master's in speech-language pathology. Congratulations, Dylan!

The Louisville Alumni and Student Organization for Alumni Relations Mentoring Program pairs up students in SOAR with alumni with similar career fields or interests. They meet or talk throughout the spring semester to learn from one another.

Ofelia Mattingly, SOAR's president, is paired with Betsy Janes '04, '09 this semester, and they recently met to talk about careers, education journeys, and finances. Ofelia reported Betsy also share lots of great advice!

We so grateful for all of our SOAR members and alumni mentors who are participating in the program this semester.
