This past week the UofL Cardinal Pep Band and UofL Alum Billy McNicol, who currently resides in Hollywood, CA and fronts a rock group with Bhargav Choudhury and C.J. Wilson, were featured in a home mens basketball halftime performance, one of the first of his kind at the NCAA D I level. Many thanks to Louisville Athletics marketing for helping produce this show. A truly memorable moment in a remarkable basketball season! Let's Go Cards!

Cellist Paul York is featured in an emotional journey, exploring vulnerability, loss, and belonging, centered around “Remember me” by David Maslanka. Guitarist Stephen Mattingly presents captivating works inspired by the writings of David Foster Wallace and Ernest Hemingway. For these artists, this collaboration speaks from the heart with conscience and compassion.
While raising awareness for mental wellness among our campus community, we share a message of hope and imagine a better future for those in need of vital mental health resources. Access to campus and community resources is most critical for students struggling with mental wellness. It is our mission to cultivate a community of care with support activities and to improve access to mental health resources for students on campus and in the community.

March With The Cards
The Cardinal Marching Band (CMB) proudly represents some of the finest students at the University of Louisville. The band performs at all UofL home football games at Cardinal Stadium, as well as select away and bowl games. In addition, the Cardinal Marching Band performs yearly at the Kentucky Derby Festival Pegasus Parade and has been the official marching band for the prestigious Kentucky Derby for several continuous decades. The group has been featured on ESPN, ABC World News Tonight, Oprah, Sports Illustrated, Extreme Makeover:Home Edition, just to name a few. We are dedicated to enhancing the game day atmosphere and collegiate spirit of every athletic event at UofL.
Rehearsals take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (Fall Only) from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the Patrick Henry Hughes Field.
Any University of Louisville or Metroversity student is welcome to join the Marching Cards and scholarship money is available for each member.
