"Ya gotta do what you gotta do”

In my previous life in corporate America, I heard this phrase from almost every person that didn’t like or downright hated their job. They said it to justify staying stuck, and their parents probably said it as well, and their parents etc. (It’s a cycle)

I used to say it too - until it became crystal clear to me that this was a lie people accepted - complete BS, and that I didn’t have to live in ANY form of misery or compromise.

The TRUTH is:

Ya gotta do - what you were born to do, what no one can do the way you do, what you came here for.

Ya gotta do - what lifts you up, what makes you feel ALIVE, or eventually what you’re doing instead is going to make u sick.

Ya gotta - ACTIVATE and APPLY the gifts that only you have, in the most direct and effective way possible, like no one else can but YOU.

Ya gotta PRIORITIZE and INVEST in that version of yourself, and in creating a tangible, sustainable, and scalable living using the gifts and skills that are unique to you.

Ya gotta know that YOU CAN without a shadow of a doubt, rise above the naysayers, and fully detach yourself from those who believe otherwise.

Sure, there are necessary stepping stones along the way that will help sustain you while you get there, but if you’re not CLEAR on what you came here to do, exactly what your unique abilities are, and who you were meant to be, if you’re not WHOLLY FOCUSED ON BECOMING THAT VERSION OF YOURSELF, you will get stuck doing something you eventually hate every day - and what was meant to be just a stepping stone becomes the burial ground for your true purpose. Harsh, I know - but I’ve been there.

So the question is this:

Are you willing to truly step out and really DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO?!!

"How bad do you want it?" " Do you know your Why?"

I hear these questions a lot in mind set circles and read versions of them in a lot of books regarding success.

I’ve had plenty of clients who’ve known what they want, and wanted it with all their heart mind and soul, but couldn’t make it happen no matter how hard they tried.

The burning question was WHY NOT?

Along with the intense desire, the constant longing, there were FEELINGS "like I’m not worthy", or"I’m not deserving", "I really don’t have what it takes", and BELIEFS like "it’s not possible, and if it was, it has to be really really hard getting there", "I don’t have the tools, the time, resources $, or connections", or "I am doomed to fail anyway so why go all in?" -

These persistent, insistent head trips are enough to keep ANYONE from having what they truly want or deserve in their life - and we ALL have them.

Many of these clients had even done tons of work identifying the feelings and limiting beliefs, and where they came from. They spent countless hours trying to root them out with rituals, affirmations, and common techniques - but here’s the deal;

Even if you know the ego noise is not true, you forgive your perpetrators and identify the triggers - even if you affirm what you know to be true over and over again, the feelings and beliefs still find a way to surface and keep you from achieving, keep you from having your most cherished heart’s desires.
