🧬 Science. Service. Advocacy.
As a molecular biology major and philosophy minor in bioethics, Maycee Decker is preparing for a future in medicine while using her platform as Miss University of Louisville to make a difference today.
After her own health journey, Maycee founded BREAST Friends, a nonprofit dedicated to educating, supporting and empowering individuals and families affected by breast cancer. Her story is a powerful reminder that leadership is rooted in compassion, purpose and service.

This UofL student is doing impressive things! Including a Philosophy minor. Way to go Nora!
Turning passion into purpose! 🧠💛
Junior Norah Hill is making an impact at every level—from Louisville to the global stage.
As a double major in Neuroscience and Biology with a minor in Philosophy, she’s combining research, leadership, and compassion to support youth impacted by gun violence.
Through her work with Mission:BRAIN Foundation and Future Healers, Norah designed a Neurosurgery Coloring Book to help pediatric patients better understand their care and feel more at ease during treatment.
What started as a local, community-engaged project is now gaining global traction, with plans to expand access to patients around the world.
From leading student organizations to serving as Assistant Director of Global Communications for Mission:BRAIN, Norah is proving that science and service go hand in hand.
