A urinalysis can reveal crystals, bacteria, cells, and other findings that help the veterinary team understand what’s going on inside a patient. In this lab, students are identifying struvite crystals, which can be present in healthy urine but may also be associated with urinary tract conditions depending on the sample and the patient.
