Ms. Juneteenth visits MDS. What a special treat for our students to visit with India Marks, Ms. Juneteenth!

India is a part of making history being the inaugural, current residing Miss Juneteenth, Louisville 2022, taking on the responsibility and honoring the opportunity to impact lives in the best way possible.

We kicked off September with our first Celebration Friday of the school year. We celebrated the Peacebuilders and good deeds in the community!

A special assembly will be held for our 6-8th grade students on Friday. We are fortunate to have India Marks, Ms. Juneteenth 2022, as a special speaker!

We completed our first full week of school. We look forward to a successful year together achieving great things!

Another certified Wilson teacher at MDS! Big congratulations to Ms. Melder on completing her Level 1 Certification in the Wilson Reading system.
Wilson directly teaches the structure of the English language. Through the program, students learn fluent decoding and encoding skills. The Wilson reading program is another way MDS sets itself apart!

Our village is what makes Meredith-Dunn School so special. We are thrilled to be back today for the first day of school!
