We nurture children’s strengths while circumventing weaknesses.

Class choices this term:
• Math Stories. Storytime with related math activities.

• Puzzles, Logic, and Connections. Mathematical theory to study the WWW, social networks, genetics, & more.
• Polyhedra. Mathematics & constructions of 3-D shapes.
• The Discrete Mathematics of SET®. Serious math related to the SET® card game.
• Puzzles, Logic, and Computers part 1. Mathematical models of computers, typically taught to advanced undergraduate computer science students.
• Honors Algebra 1. For students who struggle with traditional classes but excel when taught to their strengths.

I serve all students who need more complexity, regardless of ability to pay.

I also offer camps on BVSD holidays, services for adult learners, consulting for improved school accommodations, advanced alternative math homework for school, independent study, and research and project mentoring in select areas of mathematics, computer science, and computational biology.
