Join us on election day, before or after voting, for "Thank a Suffragist Day" where we will honor the women in Louisville who suffered and fought to give us the right to vote today! Trolley tours at Cave Hill & Eastern Cemetery will be held at 11am and 1pm featuring our local suffragists.

Lead KY: University of Louisville, prepares, encourages, and empowers students to seek leadership positions on their campuses and, eventually, in their professional fields
Attendees will learn from Kentucky politicians and leaders, participate in breakout sessions including topics on grassroots organizing, running for office and being a leader overall.

Every year, sends members of our group and to the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) - the place to educate yourself about today's most pressing issues, develop new leadership skills and making lifelong connections with peers across the country. This conference has inspired major programs for both groups.

In 2018, we were there for the historical signing of the Louisville Metro Council ordinance prohibiting Metro from asking job applicants about their salary history - a practice known to contribute to the wage gap for women and people of color. This was spearheaded by UNA-USA Kentucky and our AAUW Louisville Branch.

In partnership with our Tampon Task Force Initiative helped to get 26 dispensers of free personal hygiene products on all 3 campuses in addition to our TTF baskets filled with donated items. We even had KY Bill 85 filed so that all KY colleges provide free products to students. Want to help us end menstrual equity? Join us! Period.

Free tampons on campus? Bill would require Kentucky colleges to give them away. Kentucky state Rep. Attica Scott has pre-filed a bill to require all public universities to provide free sanitary products to students.
