Congratulations to our first On Time and Ready to Shine winner! Each day we will pick a random winner who was on time and didn’t leave early to pick a prize from our attendance bucket in the office.

We can’t wait to see our students at orientation tomorrow! The doors will be open from 2:30-4:30 for families to visit.

Day 2 of Kindergarten Camp was just as much fun!

Save the date for one of the best days at Greenwood! Our Color Walk will be held on September 19th! We are currently looking for business sponsors. Any donation of $100 or more will get your logo on all of our shirts. If you or someone you know may be interested please let us know!

New Dismissal Procedures 2026-2027 School Year:

Afternoon Car Riders:
Familes should be in our afternoon car rider line no later than 4:40. Car rider tags are required to be visible when joining the line. The car rider line will be closed each day at 4:50. If you arrive after 4:50 due to an emergency, you will need to park your car and come into the school to pick up your child after signing them out. Please call us ahead of time if this occurs.

Afternoon Walkers:
Only families who live within 1 mile of Greenwood will receive a Walker tag. All others will receive a car rider tag.  Walkers will be dismissed at 4:50. To ensure the safety of your child in our very busy parking lot and Greenwood Road, a family member is required to be present at the door in order for the child to be released. If a family member is not present at 4:50, the child will be brought back inside for a late pick up in the front office.

4. Select Community Rewards on the menu.
5. Type Greenwood or organization RN165 and click enroll to Greenwood Elementary PTA.
