We are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our 2026 graduate, Alex Lewton. Alex is the first graduate since Good Shepherd Christian Academy became a ministry of the Chapel in Marlboro.
Alex has been a part of the Good Shepherd family since 2014, beginning his educational journey with us at the age of seven. Throughout his academic career, he demonstrated exceptional dedication and excellence, earning Honor Roll recognition every quarter throughout his schooling and faithfully receiving the Bible Memorization Award each and every year.
Academically, Alex earned an overall 4.17 cumulative weighted GPA and a 98% GPA in his high school coursework. He completed a total of 30.5 credit hours, including six college courses.
In addition to his academic accomplishments, Alex was actively involved in athletics at Louisville High School during his junior and senior years participating in cross country, swimming, and track and field. He was also selected for the Louisville High School Champs Program, which recognizes athletes who exemplify character, humility, accountability, motivation, perseverance, and service.
This fall, Alex will attend Malone University. He has been accepted into the university’s Honors Program and has been awarded the Walter and Emma Malone Scholarship, the highest merit scholarship awarded by the university, recognizing exceptional academic achievement based on cumulative GPA and test scores. In addition, Alex has received three outside scholarships: The Paul & Carol David Scholarship, The Anthony Wunderle Scholarship through the Akron Community Foundation, and the Jimmy Kiefer Scholarship through Massillon Fraternal Order of Eagles. Alex will also be a member of the Malone Swim and Dive Team, where he looks forward to continuing his athletic career while pursuing his academic goals.
We look forward to seeing how the Lord will continue to guide and bless Alex as he begins this exciting new chapter!
