Summer Coaching provides graduating high school students with near peer mentors who can help support them as they graduate and start college.
The Coaches are typically students from colleges and universities that Jefferson County students often attend. Coaches are focused on helping students prepare financially, academically, socially, and emotionally for college. As current college students, they know what it takes to be successful in college in spite of all the obstacles new college students often face.
Summer is coming to an end quickly! Be sure to talk to your mentor about registering for classes, figuring out your syllabus, and get advice for orientation and your first day!
Hello everyone! Just a reminder that on Monday, the 18th we will kick off the Bootcamp to help with college knowledge and math skills. At the end of the 2 week camp you will be able to take the KYOTE test to get out of remedial college math for FREE! We will also be going to KyKingdom with Bootcamp participants on the 29th! Contact your mentor to sign up or if you have questions.
We hope you had an awesome 4th of July and are ready to continue the festivities with us tomorrow with ICE CREAM!! 2-4pm at JCTC. We will be outside of the library if the weather is good, rain plan is to go inside the Health Sciences Hall to the left of the library. See you tomorrow!!
Despite the heavy rains last night and really humid air this morning, we hope you are having a fantastic day! If you have any questions over the weekend remember, your mentor is almost always available to answer your college questions! Don't be afraid to ask!

If you haven't had the chance to fill out the initial survey that was sent to you please do so as soon as you can!
