Flight Club 502

Camp Week 3, Day 1! ☀️✈️

Week 3 is officially underway at Flight Club 502! Campers kicked off the week by learning the foundations of aviation, practicing preflights, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at Flight Club 502’s very own Carbon Cub build project.

They also explored the LMPD Police Helicopter Unit, hearing incredible stories and learning how aviation supports law enforcement. To wrap up the day, campers stepped back in time with the Vintage Warbirds, discovering historic aircraft from both the United States and around the world.

Three Young Eagles flights this weekend! ✈️

Theo Boyd took to the skies with Chief Pilot & Maintenance Coordinator Stefan Brown, while Luke Kindig and Anacio Carver flew with CFI Isabella Vaughn.

We had so much fun introducing these future aviators to the world of flight and are excited to have them at Flight Club 502!
