We are so excited to share this news with our JTown Academy family and community! 🎉
Last September, while searching for every opportunity to strengthen our center and better serve our families, we applied for a pilot program with Thrive by 5 Louisville. After a very intensive application, interview process, and onsite visit, we are honored to share that we were selected as one of 26 centers out of more than 80 applicants across Louisville! It feels good to be acknowledged for our dedication to the success of our children and readiness for kindergarten!
Thrive by 5 Louisville is an early childhood initiative led by Mayor Craig Greenberg that partners with selected early learning centers to support educators, strengthen classrooms, and expand access to high-quality childcare for families.
Being chosen for this program is an incredible honor and a huge opportunity—not only for our center, but especially for our children and families. This is just the beginning, but it represents a powerful step toward a community where every child can thrive.
We are beyond grateful for this opportunity and so excited about what it means for our current students, future students, and our community. 💙
Thank you for being part of our JTA journey!

🎃HAPPY HALLOWEEN🎃 from our JTA Family!!! Be safe!!!👻🕺🎃🕸🥰

We reopened this week. We had some very happy kiddos returning. It is great seeing them, but just odd we can’t love on them like we did. Hard they can’t see our smiles. We have to improvise with winks and silly voices. Never did we think something like this would happen to close JTA for 12 weeks. While we absolutely understand the importance of keeping our children safe, we have a ton of guidelines/regulations/restrictions that have made us have to increase staff hours all the while having less kids. We will get through this together. While other centers had struggles with staff returning, ours jumped right in. Thanks Margaret Krish Mills Amanda Cissell Traci Cooley Donna Carlsen Nitishin Denise Villanova Jane Stone Tabitha Shown, you are the best!
Doubly blessed with our families!!!! Everyone has been patient and understanding through this process. We so appreciate you!
