The OT Neuroscience students took a break from the classroom recently to visit Kids Center East Campus where they got to see some sensory based interventions in action. Students always enjoy this experience as it is a fun way to bring clinical relevance to what they've been learning in class about the vestibular and proprioceptive systems. A big thanks to Jaime and the staff at Kids Center for hosting us!

ASOT is kicking off the first week of OT Month with a discussion about advocacy! Special thanks to Quinn Driskell from Baptist Health Medical Group. Quinn is a local advocate for individuals with disabilities and accessibility and was recently appointed by the Kentucky Governor to the State Independent Living Council. Quinn spoke with ASOT PPOTD students on the importance of advocating in occupational therapy practice in multiple capacities. Thank you, Quinn!
