Honors Student Council (HSC) is a student organization committed to fostering academic growth and creating a vibrant and cohesive Honors student community.

Welcome to Honors Student Council! The University of Louisville Honors Student Council (HSC) exists to create a variety of academic, social, and volunteer events to enhance and engage the Honors community and interact with each other. The Council also functions as a channel of communication through which Honors students can express their thoughts about the Honors Program and contribute their ideas for its improvement. HSC invites students in or interested in the Honors Program to attend our events during the fall and spring academic semesters.

Celebrate the season with Honors & Honors Student Council in October! Enjoy seasonal activities in the Strickler Courtyard, including games (ring toss, corn hole, guessing games with prizes), food (a wide array from local businesses), drinks (including hot apple c***r), and much more. Build great relationships and connections with fellow honors students, staff, and faculty from around campus. Mark your calendars for Thursday, Oct. 22. Come out and join us for a festive time and lots of free food and goodies! 🍂

HSC was graciously hosted at the Americana Community Center for retreat where they welcomed their new Freshmen Representatives of the year!

It's survival of the smartest at Academic's Letterboxd & Yap! On Thursday, September 24th in Kurz Hall, kickback with HSC as they host a screening of Jurassic Park followed by a round table discussion of the film and a Blooket! FREE SNACKS will be provided during the event 🦖🎬

Join us for the 10th Annual HSC Nonprofit Fair and connect with 65+ local nonprofit organizations offering ways to volunteer, intern, and make a difference in our community. Enjoy free food, event tote bags for the first 200 students, opportunities to connect with 65+ local nonprofits, and countless ways to get involved.

The Party is getting started with HSC's PJs & Pop Night🌙‼️ On August 26th at 7pm - 9pm join us at HONORS CENTER for a night of FREE soda and pajamas to kick off the new semester and build some new connections!

Come join us for an Academics Game Night in the Kurz Hall Study Room, Aug 24th 7-9pm!! This event encourages freshman to start the semester fired up and ready with games such as Uno, Trivia, Catan and More! Free snacks and drinks will also be provided!
