Happy New Year from our big ol’ weird family to yours…be safe…scare ya soon…

Our Scare to Care program has wrapped up for the year…between holiday food baskets and Christmas gifts, we were able to serve 90 families in total. Thank you to everyone that came out and supported the Lassiter Haunted Trail this year. We could not have done it without you. Scare ya next year!

Last weekend we hosted our annual cast party and awards. They’re just a fun way to show our cast and crew how much they mean to us.

Phase one of our Scare to Care holiday baskets is complete…50 food baskets for families in our community…thank you to everyone that came out to the Lassiter Haunted Trail this year. Your canned food donations and ticket purchases made this all possible. Scare ya later!

Thanks to the Meijer on Preston Highway, we were able to get all of the turkeys we needed for the baskets this year. We will definitely make sure our business goes in their direction next time. Lesson learned. 

Edit…we just wanted to make sure that everyone knew that the only issue we had was with the area leader. The rest of the employees were extremely apologetic and truly tried to help us…just not her…

Well…I certainly hope that the area leader at Meijer on Dixie Highway sleeps well tonight knowing that she stopped a charity organization from getting enough turkeys to complete our food baskets. Infuriated and disappointed…but we’ll figure it out. However, her snide remarks will not be forgotten.

All of us here at the Lassiter Haunted Trail wish to extend our deepest condolences to those that have lost family or friends in this horrific tragedy yesterday at the airport. As the coming days bring more details, we know that many of our cast members and/or patrons could be counted among those that have lost people. Our hearts go out to everyone and we pray for comfort in this dark and terrible time.

PSA for the day…There are some scammers on the prowl today. They are continuously posting here about having tickets they can’t use. NO ONE HAS TICKETS THAT THEY CAN NOT USE! We are closed for the season. Don’t fall for it. We are deleting the posts as quickly as we can. We just don’t want anyone to fall victim to this ridiculousness.
