Louisville Electrical JATC is an electrical training program for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the National Electrical Contractors Association. With over 26,000 square feet, our multi-building training center provides hands-on training for hundreds of apprentices and journeymen electricians each year.

The Louisville Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Program will be accepting online applications for the Inside Wireman Apprenticeship from Tuesday, September 1st, through Monday, September 14th, 2026. A little behind on posting these, but they’re too good not to share!

Congratulations to our apprentices on completing their final day of class and becoming the first class to finish Louisville Electrical JATC’s new four-year apprenticeship program!

On April 24th, we proudly celebrated our final graduating 5th-Year Apprenticeship class at a ceremony honoring their hard work and achievements.

We also recognized the following individuals with special awards:

• Daniel McIntosh – Family Tree Foundation Award & 2026 Robert Byron Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement

• Eric Killmeier – Family Tree Foundation Award & 2026 Ricky George Sr. Outstanding Apprentice Award

On October 3rd, we celebrated the Graduating Apprenticeship Class of 2025 at a ceremony to acknowledge their hard work & accomplishments. The following were also recognized & individually awarded:

Applications for the Inside Wireman Apprenticeship are now closed, and it seems the interest is at an all time high!! Everyone that applied has 30 days from the date that they applied to submit all required paperwork. With over 1000 applicants this week, that is a lot of paperwork. Please be patient with our small office as we get everyone processed. Your application status most likely will not change for at least 30 days. Thank you to all that applied and for your interest in our great program!
