Don't forget to participate in our Winter Reading Challenge! Students came home with a paper on it on last Friday. One student in K-2 and one in 3-5 will receive a free book, blanket, squishmellow, thermos, a box of hot cocoa, and popcorn. The challenge goes until 3/20, but now is a great time to curl up with a book and stay warm. Students can access free ebooks & audiobooks on the Library website using MackinVia. Our Someone Special Dance scheduled for this Friday, January 30th has been POSTPONED.

🗓️ The dance will now be on Friday, February 20th from 5:30-7:00pm.

🍕If you prepaid for concessions and are no longer able to attend, please contact the front office and PTA can issue a refund. If you plan to attend the new date, your prepaid amount will be applied that night.

More information will come home next week.

Hello Wildcat families! We have noticed that there are still many of our families who have not downloaded the JCPS Thrillshare app yet. We want you to always be able to communicate with your teachers but especially with potential NTI days ahead you will need to have this app downloaded to be able to communicate with your student’s teacher and be counted present on NTI days. JCPS is having teachers and staff communicate with families through Rooms, a District-approved tool built into the JCPS,KY mobile app via Thrillshare. If you are logging in for the first time, you’ll open the app and tap “Rooms.” Select “Sign in with code.” Enter the code sent to your phone or email. Thanks so much!

Auburndale Families,
Tomorrow is the big day for our first COLOR RUN! This is a family event. Students are not to be dropped off and must have an adult with them. Families will run around the course as many times as they wish and will be 'sprayed' with color powder at 6 different color stations. You will not get wet, but you will get color powder on you. See the details on the flyer below for some helpful hints. We can't wait to see you tomorrow!

The Book Fair starts this Friday, September 12th, and runs through Friday, September 19th. A schedule of when each class visits is posted below. The Book Fair will be open during Family Literacy Night on Thursday, September 18th.
