Our FCHS MCJROTC Rifle Team has started practice and working hard Monday-Thursday in getting ready for the upcoming season with the first match on 3 September @ FCHS!! Come out and support our rifle team as they kickoff the new competition year!!🇺🇸

17 August 2026, it’s a new Drill year and the first day of Drill practice. After the long summer break it’s time to get back to work and start the run to Nationals in Daytona Beach!!! It’s going to be a GREAT and a REWARDING year for Drill Cadets at FCHS MCJROTC!!! Freshman Drill Cadets report on Monday 24 August. Our Color Guard is also hard at work prepping for National Color Guard competition on 28 August here in Louisville, KY at the Convention Center.🇺🇸

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, entered a vehicle, visited our vendors, supported our cadets, donated, shared the event, volunteered, or helped make today possible.

We are especially grateful to our community partners, sponsors, vendors, families, cadets, and everyone who showed patience and flexibility with the last-minute location change. We know the heat was no joke, and we truly appreciate everyone who battled through the extreme temperatures to support our cadets and help make the event a success.

We also want to thank everyone who brought out unwrapped toys to support the Marine Toys For Tots - Louisville organization. Your generosity will help bring joy to children and families in our community, and we are grateful for everyone who contributed.

The cars, trucks, Jeeps, bikes, and custom builds that showed up today were amazing, and we loved seeing the community come together for a great cause.

All proceeds from today’s event help support our Fern Creek MCJROTC cadets through leadership training, competitions, community service, and educational activities.

What a GREAT turnout for our first Booster meeting of the year! We had standing room only in the classroom with Cadet parents . On behalf of the MCJROTC Instructors and Boosters we want to THANK YOU for taking the time out of your busy day to show your support for this program. Your support for the upcoming year is vitally important to the success of the program. This upcoming year promises to be a busy one with fund raising, community events, color guard, drill/rifle/drone competition throughout the year. As a reminder we meet the first Tuesday of every month unless noted otherwise. Again THANK YOU for the support you showed tonight and we look forward to your continued support for our Nationally recognized MCJROTC program throughout the 2026-2027 school year.🇺🇸
