Norton Elementary School

The Northeast Regional Library invited students from several nearby elementary schools to take part in a Summer Reading Challenge. Throughout the summer, they tracked how many students from each school completed LFPL’s Summer Reading Program by reading at least 10 books, and the results are now in... NORTON ELEMENTARY came in 1ST PLACE, with over 148 students completing the challenge! Congratulations to all of our super readers for helping our school win the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge!🥇

STEM Challenge in 5th grade! 🌁

4th grade has been busy! 📝They spent time last week learning about classmates, their differences and similarities, as well as discussing what respect looks like, sounds like, and feels like at school.

Hooray for our token winners! 🎉 Several students received PAW tickets this week for exemplifying respectful, responsible, and safe behavior. Today, two tickets were pulled from each class to earn a weekly treat, and these lucky kiddos were drawn to win a token for the Book Vending Machine! 📕

The Bash was a BLAST! We kicked off the 2026-27 school year with a ton of Cougar families & staff members at the Back to School Bash! Huge thanks to our PTO for sponsoring this amazing event! 🙌🏻

Culture Projects! The 5th graders had a chance to share a little piece of themselves and also learned lots of special things about their classmates today!
