With Easter fast approaching St James Church, Rectory and School planting areas need weeding and mulching…
The weeding work can be on your own schedule. You’ll see planting areas at all three places…church, rectory and school. Our goal to to make them look nice. Bring friends, family members…anyone interested in beautifying St James.
The church will be ordering a load of mulch as in past years…but that’ll be a little after needed weeding.
Dig right in as you can…and thanks so much for your help.
Clean up and mulch day will be April 16th. We will begin at 8:30 am. We will partner with Brightside to be one of their communitywide sites. The benefit is they will provide us clean up bags, gloves and the City Public Works will pick up our yard waste.
Please share with your committees, students, student families, friends etc.
If you have wheelbarrows and garden tools please bring them. We will have mulch to move around.
Any questions let me know. It would be great to know who might be volunteering, so if you could share my contact information with your groups.
Thank you.

STEM class had a little fun with March Madness this year creating hoops and a catapult launcher for our “basketball”. Lots of physics involved.

Stem Class - Crash Test Dummies
We studied crash test dummies, then the kids designed a car with an egg in it hoping to survive a head on collision. Some excellent designs here.

An “Egg-citing” project in our STEM class. Students designed a car that would protect an egg in a head on collision. Some eggs were ejected and broke.
