We’ve been planning something special for the fall…Summit’s Coming Home event! We are inviting all former students and staff members back to campus for an evening of reminiscing and connection. Be on the lookout for more information over the next few months.

Please note, this is an 18 and older event. Former students who would like to attend need to have graduated from high school. (Not exclusive to Summit Academy High School graduates).

Thank you for providing the students at Summit Academy everything they could possibly need to learn to play Magic the Gathering! We are so grateful and excited to put your gift to use. Some of our literacy students have already started exploring the cards and game mechanics. Next school year this gift will be put to use in after school clubs and high school literacy classes. This gift will help our students practice reading comprehension, strategy, game design, good sportsmanship, and more!

Graduation is quickly approaching, and our seniors have wrapped up their community internship placements for the year. Thank you to all of our local businesses and organizations who welcomed our seniors this year!

Dyslexia impacts about 1 in 5 people. When a student with dyslexia is given the correct systematic tools, they can learn to read. Teachers at Summit recently worked with Laura Cronin, Director of Learning Differences at Assumption High School (and Summit Academy Board of Trustee) to learn more about supporting students with dyslexia in the classroom.
