So excited for tomorrow!

The final superpower, the one that brings it all together: HERO. 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️
Today's lesson hit different. Our students learned that being a Super Hero isn't about flying or having super speed. It's about the choices you make every single day. Kindness, taking action, standing up for what's right.
And then came the moment that lit up the room: "You're already Super Heroes!" Steady, Uplifter, Purpose, Extra Mile, Reliable. These powers were living inside our students from the beginning. This heroic quest just helped them realize the power they already had.
Their chant today says it all: "Super Heroes lead with heart, Super Heroes from the start."
Tomorrow is the Fun Run! Our heroes are ready. Here's the game plan for tonight: good sleep, water bottle packed, healthy breakfast in the morning, and comfy shoes. Two big rules for tomorrow: do your best, and have fun. ❤️

Tomorrow is the big day! 🦸
Our Fun Run is tomorrow, and tonight is the last chance to get pledges in before the event.
Tonight's hero checklist: ✅ Get those final pledges in ✅ Lay out comfy shoes ✅ Plan a good breakfast and plenty of water ✅ Get a great night's sleep ✅ Tell your student how proud you are of them
Two weeks of superpowers. Tomorrow, our students put them all into action. 💛

Today's superpower: Reliable. 🔒
Our students learned that being Reliable means living by a simple rule: "I do what I say I'll do, I show up when others need me, and I follow through even when it's not easy." Reliable heroes tell the truth, do their best, and stay true to what's right, not just what's popular. They prove their character through their actions, day after day.
One of our favorite lines from today's lesson: "Pressure makes diamonds." Taking on hard challenges head-on and solving problems makes you come out stronger and brighter on the other side.

Their leadership challenge today is a special one: write a note to their principal or give them a high five in the hallway and thank them for being a reliable leader at our school. 💛

The school has reached $21,830 as of this morning!

So excited as we head into our final week of Apex! Tonight’s challenge is our pie challenge. Apex is sending home flyers with pie day information along with students’ codes in case they have lost their badge!

We’ve had 50% of our students log in so far, so hopefully these flyers will help more be able to get on.

Bors’ class won the weekend challenge and gets to slime the Apex team!

A little front office glow-up! ✨

The JCPS Material Productions Department worked their magic again and helped bring our vision to life with this amazing new decal in the Wilder front office. Their attention to detail and creativity always make our spaces feel more welcoming, professional, and full of Wildcat pride. 💚💛

New superpower unlocked: Extra Mile. 💪
Today our students learned that Super Heroes don't do the bare minimum. Going the Extra Mile means helping someone clean up even when you didn't make the mess. Giving your best effort even when you're tired. Noticing a classmate sitting alone and inviting them to join you. Heroes don't say "that's not my problem." They say "how can I help?"
The big takeaway: the extra mile is where most people stop, but it's where leaders show up.
Their leadership challenge: find one moment today to go the extra mile, at school or at home. Help someone, work harder, or do something kind that you didn't have to do. 💛
