Graduation 2018

The staff and I want to thank all the families who have supported our great preschool the last five years I have been the director and the 20 years since the program was started by Linda Ridioux. We have touched the lives of many young children and families. We are so blessed to have been surrounded by great families who have allowed us to be the first doors that a child enters as they begin their education. The staff and I have strived to provide the best possible enrichment for your child and improve on this each year. Our preschool would not have grown in the past five years without your loud voices singing our praise. Many thanks again for all you have done for us. We love you all and wish you and your children the very best. We wish you more!

Families who are attending graduation

I ask you to please be aware of your etiquette.

The front two sections are for immediate family only. This includes mom, dad and siblings. We ask that grandparents and others sit in the back two sections. Squeeze in tight to make as much room for as many as possible. Please do not save seats.

Doors will open at 5:45. Children may only enter through the breezeway door. All students will get ready in the main section of the preschool. The under-croft will not be used and those doors will be locked. Students can begin to arrive at 5:30. Only students can enter the building. No hair bows!!!

The children will need the area in front of the pews and beside the pews, so we ask that you do not stand against the wall or allow children to sit on the floor in front of the first row pews.

After the children perform, they will return to sit with you. I have something special for them and you all to enjoy. After this special gift, the staff and I will serve lemonade and brownies in the memorial garden (If it rains we will be in Board Hall). Feed your graduate before the event.

Please have your child there no later than 5:45. This is an important event for them and they have worked very hard to entertain you. Rushing them in at the last minute makes for a tense evening. We want to celebrate their achievements.

Last but most important- The church is not the best for being able to see your child for the whole performance. Go into this space knowing this . Space is limited and we have 36 children who will be front and center. I know you all want to see your child perform, but please be mindful of those who are sitting behind and around you. They want to see their child too! Come in knowing that your view may not be the best but enjoy what moments you can. We want this to be fun for all guests and audience members.

We look forward tomorrow night. Just another note that this performance is only performed by the 4s and JK students, however everyone else is welcome to watch.

St. Luke's will be close today. Anchorage is on a two hour delay.

St. Luke's will be open March 21. We will have early bird and begin school at nine.

Donuts with Dad Thursday/Friday. Our comedy show will begin at 9:15 in the church. We will then move to each child's classroom to play and enjoy a donut. Drop off your child in carpool, park and enter through the church doors.

St. Luke's will be open today, Wednesday. Early Bird open at eight.
