To keep the good news rolling, we also want to say congratulations to another one of Student Office Assistants: Halleigh Durham! Halleigh was recently awarded the Emerging Leader Award at the Women in Leadership Banquet on March 18th! This is a prestigious award to show the great impact Halleigh has already had at Bellarmine in just her first year. On top of that, Halleigh also recently was hired to be a Resident Assistant on campus for the next academic year AND she was hired at the Louisville Zoo as a Seasonal Educator. We are SO proud of you, Halleigh! ⚔️🦫

Congratulations to our students who earned the Professional Excellence Award for their fall internships and were recognized yesterday at the Baseball game! 45 fall interns were rated as Highly Effective or Exceptional in all eight NACE Career Competencies by their internship supervisors and we are so proud of their accomplishments!
Additionally, shout out to for partnering with us to support our team and collect donations for the Louisville Franciscan Kitchen! You can still donate Dove bars of soap, small tubes of toothpaste, and toothbrushes in the CCE!

The Alumni Mentor Program 2026 is in full swing! Last week, our Mentor Program Kick-Off and First Meeting saw over 100 mentor/mentee pairs and brought so much great energy! Thank you to all of our mentors who are dedicating their time and talent to helping our students grow and get connected to their fields of interest. And thank you to our students for being prepared and engaged in your conversations with your mentors.

As a reminder to all participants, you will be meeting with your mentor/mentee again during the week of April 13th - April 17th. This will be fully VIRTUAL for everyone. If you have not already connected with your mentor/mentee about this, you will want to do so soon to secure a date and time that works best for each of you. Please refer to the Mentor Program Handbook for suggested activities to complete during this second meeting.

If you weren’t able to participate this year, HAVE NO FEAR! We will have lots of opportunities next year to make great connections with our alumni. In the meantime, you can also meet with your dedicated career advisor to learn how to grow your network!
