Every year, the McConnell Center offers tuition scholarships, travel opportunities, and liberal arts enrichment seminars to 40 McConnell Scholars; administers a public lecture series focused on American history and contemporary issues; coordinates civic education programs for Kentucky's social studies teachers and students; and oversees the U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell and Secretary Elaine L.

Trey is from Columbia, KY and attended Adair County High School, where he was Student Board of Education Representative, Captain of the Academic Team, Future Business Leaders of America officer, Student Ambassador, BETA club member, and varsity tennis athlete. Congratulations to Macy Waddle '26, Grant Avis '26, and Kathleen Price '27 on their recent election as members of the UofL Student Government Association's (SGA) Top 4. Top 4 is the name given to SGA's Executive Cabinet, which consists of Student Body President, Executive Vice President, Academic Vice President, and the Services Vice President.
Waddle will serve as Student Body President, Price will serve as Academic Vice President, and Avis will serve as Services Vice President after winning campus-wide elections earlier this semester. Well done, Scholars! 👏

Caroline is from Louisville, KY and attended DuPont Manual High School/Youth Performing Arts School, where she was cross country and track and field athlete, a J&C - Journalism & Communication magnet, Dupont Manual HS student, involved in the Creative Writing Club, and was an exchange student in Germany. At UofL she studies political science on an international relations track, and minors in German. She is a member of the University of Louisville Chi Omega Women's Fraternity and is a Raise RED Dance Marathon staff member. Welcome, Caroline!
