The Class of 2030 brought the energy to our annual Summer Social last night! 🥳 Our incoming freshmen had a blast playing games, making memories, and getting to know one another before the school year began. Students were placed into mixed teams, giving them the opportunity to meet new classmates, step outside their comfort zones, and start building connections. We loved seeing the laughter, teamwork, and new friendships that formed throughout the evening.

We are excited to share that recent Mercy Academy graduates Mady Yaden and Gretchen Crawford, Class of 2026, have officially arrived in Argentina and are settling in with their host family!

As part of Mercy's exchange program, participants spend four weeks in Argentina, where they have the opportunity to attend classes at El Colegio Santa Ethnea, participate in service projects, and immerse themselves in the local culture while living with the student they hosted during the winter.

We are incredibly grateful to be part of this meaningful international exchange and look forward to welcoming our Argentine guests in the upcoming school year. We wish Maddie and Grethen an unforgettable experience and look forward to hearing about their adventures in Argentina!🇦🇷✈️💙💛

Each year, we offer students in the senior class the chance to give a commencement address. Interested seniors deliver their speeches in a competition for the honor of speaking tonight. This year’s speaker exemplifies the very best of Mercy Academy through her academic excellence, leadership, service, and character.

Ranked in the top 5 percent in a highly accomplished class, she has challenged herself through a rigorous curriculum of advanced and AP courses while excelling as both a student leader and student-athlete.

Throughout her time at Mercy, she has distinguished herself not only through her achievements, but through the way she leads others — with humility, integrity, kindness, and determination.

As Siena House Captain, a Mercy Ambassador, mentor, honor society leader, and dedicated varsity softball player, she has consistently given her time and energy in service to the Mercy community. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or supporting her peers, she leads by example and inspires those around her.

Her intelligence, maturity, and genuine care for others have made a lasting impact on Mercy Academy, and we are proud to have her represent the Class of 2026 today.

We are also extremely proud of Emerson for earning appointments to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and to the U.S. Naval Academy, where she will be Midshipman #1 from Mercy, distinguishing her as the first graduate to attend Navy from Mercy Academy.

Congratulations to a true Mercy Academy legend, Mr. Kevin Kramer, on his retirement from teaching!
