🌿 Day of Caring at PESC! 🌿

Last Thursday, 20 amazing volunteers from LG&E joined us for their Day of Caring! They rolled up their sleeves to help clean up our overgrown vegetable gardens and tackle other important Earth Care projects around our 27-acre campus.

We are so grateful for their time, energy, and care for our shared Earth. Thank you, LG&E, for helping our gardens—and PESC—grow! 💚🌱

💚 HELP US SUPPORT OUR IMMIGRANT NEIGHBORS

Listen Learn Act recently hosted a powerful community conversation with Dr. Mario Ransan, founder of the Louisville Solidarity Project—a grassroots relief effort providing direct aid, food, and care packages to immigrant families who may feel unsafe leaving their homes.

Dr. Ransan shared moving stories of families in our community impacted by recent immigration changes and the urgent needs created by harmful policies and practices. He also shared how the Louisville Solidarity Project is responding with compassion, dignity, and direct support.

YOU CAN HELP! 💚

We’re collecting donations to help provide essential items to immigrant families in need.

📍 Drop-off: Earth & Spirit Center
1924 Newburg Rd.
📅 Monday, September 14
⏰ 1:00–4:00 p.m.

Items needed:
• Non-perishable food — rice, beans, nut butters, canned fruits & vegetables, etc.
• New or gently used clothing & shoes — all sizes
• Diapers
• Hygiene products — feminine hygiene products, soap, toothpaste, and more

Can’t make it during the drop-off time? No problem! Let us know, and we’ll work with you to arrange a time for someone to pick up your donation.

Together, we can turn compassion into action and remind our neighbors that they are not alone.
