In Foundations Lab, our students recently suited up to learn infection control and proper PPE protocols, including the specialized protective equipment used when caring for patients with highly infectious diseases like Ebola.

Zeynab was nominated by Dr. Rudy R. Clark, who highlighted her compassion, advocacy and commitment to making sure patients and families feel seen, heard and valued. Zeynab was also recognized for the encouragement and support she provided to fellow students and her dedication to advocating for people in need.

The DAISY Foundation recognizes nurses for the extraordinary difference they make through compassionate care.

As a nursing researcher, you wear a lot of hats. To assist with the mountain of tasks necessary to conduct worthwhile studies, our Office of Nursing Research facilitates monthly GRA meetings.

At our first meeting of the fall semester, new and returning Graduate Research Assistants gathered to check in on projects, swap advice, and tackle questions together.

One of the best parts of being a GRA at UofL Nursing? Having a built-in network of peers and mentors who are always willing to share what they've learned along the way.
