Calling all UofL Metro College Students… 📞🎁

Pick up your Finals Care Package from Academic Vice President Macy Waddle featuring hand warmers, Celsius packets, study supplies, and more! 🛍️

UofL Metro College Students can pick up their care packages December 5th from 9:30 p.m. until supplies last at the UPS Career Takeoff Center, located near the guard shack.

Library hours are EXTENDED for finals! 📖📚

On December 1st-5th and 8th-10th, East Ekstrom will be open until 2 a.m.

Use these extended hours to your advantage, Cards! Happy studying! 📖

The “Holiday Dinner for 1 Food Drive” in collaboration with the Cardinal Cupboard is in full swing! 🦃🥫

The food drive will end on Friday, November 22nd. Students can drop off Thanksgiving canned & non-perishable food items from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day this week in the SGA office, SAC W310!

For every 5 items donated, students will receive 1 service hour! The maximum amount of service hours earned from donations is set at 2 hours.

The top 10 donors will receive a gift bag with:
2 mugs/cups, 2 t-shirts/sweatshirts, an exclusive cardinal flag, and SGA swag! 🛍️

Staying on campus over Thanksgiving? Pick up a “Holiday Dinner for 1” from the Satellite Cardinal Cupboard in SAC W107! Pick up will be open from 1-5 p.m. on November 25th and 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on November 26th.

Today, SGA honors Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month!

Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month began as Hispanic Heritage Week in 1968. In 1988, it was expanded to cover a 30-day period from September 15 to October 15. This month contains the anniversaries of independence for various Latin American countries:
September 15th - Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua
September 16th - Mexico
September 18th - Chile
It also contains the holiday Día de la Raza, or Columbus Day, which is celebrated on October 12th.

There will be a multitude of events throughout the month honoring the heritage, culture, and contributions of Hispanic/Latinx Americans! SWIPE to see what they are! Check out for more info!
