He’s one of ours!

Floyd Craig still attributes his inspiration to become an educator to his early experience with the UofL TRIO Upward Bound program.

He earned his bachelor's degree in English from UofL in 2001 and went on to earn master’s degrees in Pan African Studies, teaching and school counseling. After years as an educator and school counselor, he returned to UofL and completed his doctorate of education degree in 2026.

Shoutout to Josh Wallace and Kyle Ingle on their $200,000 award! They are partnering with Evolve502 to study and evaluate Evolve502's Student Support Coaching Pilot Program in partnership with Jefferson County Technical College. This project will guide future implementation of the program.
