The ticket prices are very affordable: $6 for children (12 and under), $10 for general admission, and $8 for seniors. There's no additional cost for participating in activities. Some food counters may sell finger foods at reasonable prices.

Check out all the amazing arts! The big character is #福 (fú) meaning good fortune in Chinese, and the horse design has an accompanying saying #马到成功 meaning as soon as you get a horse, you will succeed. So we hope everyone 马（ma) 到 (dào) 成 (chéng) 功 (gōng)! 🐎🧧❤️

📢AMAZING *FREE* summer camp opportunity announcement 📢!

Introducing the YES (Young Envoys Scholarship) program:

On November 15, 2023, President Xi Jinping of China and President Biden held a China-U.S. Summit in San Francisco, U.S.A. The two leaders reached more than 20 agreements in areas such as politics, diplomacy and people-to-people exchanges, forming the "San Francisco Vision", in which both sides reaffirmed the importance of people-to-people exchanges between China and US, and encouraged the expansion of the number of international students. During his visit, President Xi announced that "in order to expand exchanges between the Chinese and American people, especially the younger generation, China is willing to invite 50,000 young Americans to China for exchanges and study in the next 5 years" (referred to as the "50,000 in 5 Years" initiative).

Please see the attached flyer for the upcoming summer camp highlights. Selected scholars will get visit the "Terracotta Warriors City" (西安 Xi'an) and "Ancient Watertown" (杭州 Hangzhou). All costs are covered by the scholarship with the exception of the registration fee and round-trip international airfare. This past weekend, our friends made characters "Fu"s （福） and paper cutout glutinous rice balls "Tang Yuan"（汤圆）. We are ready to celebrate the Lantern Festival (the fifteenth of the Lunar New Year)! 🏮 #阳阳中文

KCS Spring Break camp registration is open now! This year we will also offer early drop off starting at 7:30 and late pick up until 5:30 for an additional $10/day ($50 for the week). Early bird discount ends on 2/1! You do not have to be a current student at KCS or know Chinese to sign up.
