June is Donor Appreciation Month, and we're celebrating alumnus Aaron Flaker and his uncle, Rick Redman, for honoring Kathy Redman's decades of service to CEHD through the creation of the Kathy Redman Educational Scholarship for Students from Appalachia (KRESSA).
Scholarship played an important role in Aaron's success at UofL, as he was the recipient of a Minerva Scholarship, designed for students with a parent who was an employee at UofL. Aaron (who was also the Cardinal Bird Mascot) and his uncle have created a legacy of scholarship support within CEHD, while also honoring the deep service of his mother, Kathy. Read more about their inspiring story: https://education.louisville.edu/news/honoring-legacy-uofl-alumni-establishes-scholarship-appalachian-students.
